Its sturdy construction allows for use in soft or hard soils. It measures 31" in total length,and allows up to 20" of penetration in the ground for a sturdy and secure mount. Its has a unique offset holder design, so there is less chance of damaging if needed hard blows with hammer to sink in hard soil.
